This saw is an excellent choice for reducing sheets of plywood to safely then cut on the table saw. I use the Freud TK303 blade for a very smooth cut. This saw can cut through 3/4 inch cabinet grade plywood with ease. I am right handed and bought the left blade saw since it improves visibility to the cut.

I bought this saw about two years ago now and it's still running smooth. This saw is comparitively light and very easy to handle. I've never used a saw that ran smoother than this. I use the adjustable handle less than I expected...but It comes in handy when cutting 1/4" ply ect. I keep it down for 2x mat.. My only contention with this saw is the exhaust on the casing should be hooded, if you move your head to far down to watch your line you get a blast of sawdust in your face. Also, changing the handle position is awkward. Those are minor annoyances, I still rate this saw 5 stars.

I had never used a circular saw before and this was a great purchase. The saw is powerful and well put together. The adjustment controls are easy to use and the saw runs extremely smooth. My only gripe would be the case it comes in. Be sure to look closely at exactly how the saw is positioned in the case before you take it out because it has to be tilted and positioned exactly right to get it closed again. If you move the shoe to control the depth of your blade through a cut be sure to move it back to original position or the saw will not fit back in the case. Also do not lay the case on wood floors, wood furniture etc because it is easy to mar the surface when you are taking the saw out or putting it back in your case. Over all the saw is great. I used it to shorten a pocket door and it made a pefectly smooth even cut. Just buy a couple of good saw horses, a good metal cutting guide, and some good clamps and your projects will go perfect with this saw. You may also want to buy a couple of high tooth blades for smooth chip free cuts. This left blade saw is great because it made it very easy to cut a wide door because I could walk beside the bottom of the door while making my cut with pefect visibility (instead of having to make an awkward reach across the door like you would with a typical right blade saw).

The result of their research went into the creation of the Milwaukee 6391-21, arguably the best-built circular saw on the market.
For starters, the 6391 has a monster 15-amp, 5,800-rpm motor that produces 3-1/4 horsepower; that’s nearly as powerful as a worm-drive saw, yet this 7-1/4-inch Milwaukee model is more than one third lighter.
Look closely and you’ll notice that the blade is mounted on the left side of the motor. That southpaw position gives right-handed users a much clearer view of the cutting line since they no longer have to lean over their arm to see the blade. The 10.4-pound saw’s thick aluminum shoe tilts up to 50 degrees for bevel cutting.
The 6391 is also equipped with Milwaukee’s exclusive Tilt-Lok handle that can be adjusted to the most comfortable cutting position: to the rear for vertical cutting, on top for horizontal cutting, or anywhere in between.
