This shower curtain liner is a huge disappointment. It is very lightweight and as such is constantly touching you while showering. Much of this could be solved with the addition of weights at the bottom edge of the liner. I would not recommend buying this liner.

After trying for years to find a shower curtain with little off-gassing and soft draping this is the one so far. Bought another one to have as a backup. May never buy another brand again.

This liner does keep the mildew away. No doubt about it. I bought this liner for its extra length for my shower stall. I wish it was just 2 more inches longer in our case though. I put an extra metal link between the curtain and the rings for the needed length.
It is a tad light but it doesn't fly away once I press it against the wet tiles on either side of the stall opening. I have noticed not only does the liner stay clear of mildew but the tile and grout do so as well.
I can see where this light weight material might be a problem in a more open bath tub environment. I bought another product with heavier material (10 gauge the pkg says) for the kids' bath tub, the 'Maytex No More Mildew Shower Curtain Liner'. It is also working very well in warding off mildew.
