It is just the thing I was looking for! It is NOT bulky like most high chairs and fits into my home decor. My son loves it whether he is eating or playing while I cook. I highly recommend it!!!!

I love the design, the visual aesthetic, and how easy it is to get the baby into and out of the chair. It's a great height and she's been using it since she was 7 months (she's now 13 months). It's a simple design, light (if you need to move it around) and mostly easy to clean. I like that there is a permanent bar between her legs to keep her from sliding down and we can also use the "seat belt" which is easy to snap open and closed. It was also, surprisingly, easy for me to assemble the parts. And I am NOT a good manual assembler!
My only complaints are two:
1. the legs are designed so that they are supportive but go out a bit from the chair. That makes it more stable but, because the chair is basically in the middle of our kitchen, at the end of the table. The kitchen is small (we live in a NYC apartment) and there's only one place for the table, and therefore the high chair. So EVERYONE has tripped on the legs at one point or another, sometimes many times. It's not obvious that you're about to get your foot on a leg of the chair since the legs are silver and (our floor is white) so it doesn't stand out. Plus the chair at the top is white so you assume the legs go straight down. My husband and I were used to it after about 3 weeks but my poor parents and friends have not enjoyed this chair for that reason.
2. It's easy to clean and difficult at the same time. I take the red insert out and throw it in the washing machine (it says to hand clean only but it just never got clean enough doing that), and never NEVER put it in the dryer. It air dries in a few hours, so I usually wash it after she's done with dinner and it's ready the next morning for breakfast. It's very easy to wipe down. What's not easy to clean is there are two places where crumbs get stuck around the bar that keeps her from sliding under the table and where the chair table snaps into the chair. It's not a huge problem but the only way to get those crumbs out is to get a toothpick. So I don't clean those out as often as I maybe should. My objection to it is that the little grooves where the crumbs get stuck are purely there for aesthetics. I appreciate the aesthetics but when I have to get the toothpick to dig out the crumbs, it does get a little annoying.
Overall, I've recommended this to many parents with my two caveats. It's a good price for what you get and if you have a less central place to put the highchair, then you won't have problem #1.

Great Highchair - I had some trouble with the shipping (parts missing), but got a replacement (Thanks Amazon Chat) and overall the chair style (contemporary) matches our home, the tray is great, chair is secure and Light.
